I would like to care for: Infant, Toddler, Preschool, School
Desired Rate: 8.00/Hour. Rate is non-negotiable
Information about me: I am a mature, responsible person with two daughters. My oldest is 22 years and my youngest is 13 years old. I love spending time with children.
Most important aspect of the job: Making sure of the children's safety and well-being. I also try to teach simple things appropriate for the age of the child.
Most rewarding: Watching the children as they play. I love to see their happy smiles doing something they enjoy.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap? First, I make sure that's there isn't a valid reason for the action that the child is doing at the moment. I try to console the child and help him/her with any problems he/she is having.

Additional Info: I integregate learning activities throughout the time that I spend with the children. I read to them, do flashcards, identify shapes, sounds, etc with objects found in the home.
