Information about me:	I am 22 and atheletic. I love sports and the outdoors. I do enjoy reading and watching movies. I am one of two kids in my family; i have an older brother who is 25. I am originally from Rochester, NY but moved down to Alexandria and loving every minute of it.
Most important aspect of the job:	The most i important aspect of my job it to make sure the kids and family get to know and i get to know them. Trust is a big thing and it goes both ways when it come to child care. I want the families to trust me and i want to trust them. I also think it is important to know the children you are caring for because all are unique and have their own personalities.
Most rewarding:	What i find most rewarding about my job is the the smiles the kids get when they see me come back or when i make them laugh. That is rewarding becasue then i know that they are happy and are enjoying themselves.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	I deal with the common frustrations with a lot of patience. I was a camp councelor for 4 years and had all different ages and personalities. Its a matter of coming down to child level and having them understand what is happening. I do not like to yell at a child because it makes the situation worse.

Additional Info:	I babysat on and off since i was 13 and i am now 22. I was a camp coucelor for four years and was promoted to assistant director. This past summer i babysat two different babies and a terminally ill child. I love watching children and watchign them grow.
