I would like to care for: Infant, Toddler, Preschool
Desired Rate: 5.00/Hour. Rate is negotiable
Information about me: I am an 18 year old college freshman at Central Baptist College. My major is Psychology and I am currently a cheerleader.
Most important aspect of the job: The most important aspect is education. I am willing to provide educational activities so your child will not have a stand still in learning while you are away.
Most rewarding: The time and help. I love helping people and dedicating my time to help parents with their kids is enjoyable.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap? There is positive reinforcement. If they don't want to eat, I would tell them they can play with their favorite toy if they finish. With constant crying, I will see if the child needs care. If not, I will comfort them. If they are refusing to take a nap, I can put on their favorite t.v. show and see If the child falls asleep. if not, I can always lay down with the child to encourage them cause they often like to repeat everything.
