Information about me:	I'm a bright and smart young 15 year old girl. Even though I'm still in school I'm available weekends and after school. I love children and I'm very patient. I can put up with fussing and crying and even bad attitudes. I like being outdoors and entertaining. I can be very mature, but still get along with the children. I have the imagination of a child and I'm not afraid to get involved with the children and make sure they're safe and happy. I'm flexible with work hours and know to take care of babies even as newborns.
Most important aspect of the job:	Making sure that the child is happy and having a good time is very important to me. Fussy children aren't fun to deal with and if I like the children I'm babysitting it makes it all the most enjoyable. Communication with the children and the parents is essential to any babysitting job I preform.
Most rewarding:	Seeing the children happy and the parents satisfied. Being a full-time aunt to my sister's currently 3 month old baby, I love to see my nephew happy and smiling and my sister able to get time to herself once in a while. Raising a child can be stressful so it's nice to see the parents be able to relax and get away knowing their children are in good hands.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	When a child starts crying, I usually wait it out and try to find out why they're crying. If they miss the parents, I reassure them they're okay and distract them from their worries. If it's just fussiness I help distract them into doing something fun that catches their attention or I just let them cry until they stop. If they refuse to nap, I offer to lay down with them or just let them throw a tantrum until they've tired themselves out. I might say things like "It's nap time Micheal. Crying is

Additional Info:	I have experience babysitting my 3 month old nephew, a 2 year old child, a stubborn 3 year old, and my 3 year old nephew. I have been watching my nephew and cousin since they were newborns and they're well behaved children. When I watched the stubborn 3 year old, her constantly cried if I took any toys he was hitting me with or throwing but I would find another thing to catch his attention. I would prepare meals for him and clean the house and dishes before the mother arrived home if I had time.
