How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	If crying, I would take them on a walk or play with their toys. If spitting out food, make it interesting like pretend it is a rocket ship. And if refusing to take a nap i would put a movie in and lay down with them.
