Information about me: I am 15yrs old. I have been babysitting for 5 yrs. I have babysat ages 6 months to 11yrs old. I enjoy working with animals and kids. When I get older I hope to start a children shelter and work as a veternarian. So I can do both the things I enjoy.
Most important aspect of the job: Making sure the kids are having fun and being safe. Also I think its important to show and prove that i am responsible. Also being respectful to everyone.
Most rewarding: Seeing the kids/babies having a good time, and meeting new people. Also learning new things and being able to help someone out.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap? I take breaths if i feel myself getting frustrated. I make sure that i NEVER yell/ scream/ talk inappropreiatly to anyone. I take one thing at a time if i can.
