Information about me: I am an energetic, responsible 19 year old. I am currently a sophomore at James Madison University, where I am studying education. I have a passion for working with kids. Last year I was the coach of the special olympics swim team, as well as, volunteered over 40 hours at the local elementary school.
Most important aspect of the job: The most important aspect of babysitting is the child's well being.
Most rewarding: I love every aspect of working with children. I love being creative with them and doing arts and crafts or even playing outside.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap? I take a deep breathe and try a different approach. The key is not to become overly frustrated. They say patience is a virtue for a reason!
