Information about me:	My name is Allie and I am 18 years old. I am very experienced in babysitting. I have babysat since the age of 11 and I can babysit an age range from infancy to teens. I am currently attending night school so the only time i would not be able to babysit is on tuesday and thursday from 3:30-4:30.
Most important aspect of the job:	Making sure that the child or children are cared for as best as possible and that the child (children) has everything that they need to thrive and grow physically, mentally and emotionally.
Most rewarding:	I absolutely LOVE working with children! Seeing a child learn something new, or acomplish a goal that is important to them is a very heart warming moment for me. It is very important to have a babysitter that cares more about bonding with the children and helping them through life than what they're recieving on their next paycheck.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	A lot of the time, it helps to invent a game. This takes the child's mind off of what they are upset about and makes things they don't really like to do fun. Whether it be going outside, reading a book, or watching a show and pretending to be the characters as the show goes along. It is important to utilize the child's imagination to make things more enjoyable for both the child and the babysitter. That is how i handle little frustrations.

Additional Info:	I have two younger siblings that i babysat from age 11 to age 17. I babysat my younger brother from birth to the age of 7, so i have a lot of experience with babies and toddlers. I also have babysat my younger sister from age 6 to 13, so i also have a lot of experience with young children and preteens.
