Desired Rate:	7.00/Hour. Rate is non-negotiable
Information about me:	Mature babysitter, just over 50. I love the small children and enjoy watching as they learn and grow. Experienced with twins. I love to spoil babies, but respect parent's rules for their children. . I like to be involved with play time. I'm very much the Queen of Last Minute requests
Most important aspect of the job:	laughing with children. I get the biggest kick out of watching a toddler in action, or listening to stories of some imaginary event or their version of a real event. Seeing them learn new things and progress is a delight.
Most rewarding:	Having a child fall asleep in your arms is the most rewarding feeling in the world. Knowing they love and trust you. Seeing them learn new things or hear they are repeating something I may have taught them.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	When meeting with parents, I do ask all their tricks and what their children's preferences are when the parents themselves have to deal with these instances. I use any diversionary tactic I can think of to derail crying jags. But I have patience if all fails and they need to cry it out. Spitting out food is tough one. I try the best I can to get them to eat or drink as much as they should of the food set out. I also consider the consequences if they miss one meal. Like, how long before they eat

Additional Info:	I have babysat a lot for family and friends throughout my adult life. I have over 15 neices and nephews and had spent a lot of time with them before having my own child. My daughter is now 17. I started sitting as a second job about 7 years ago.
