I would like to care for: Infant, Toddler, Preschool, School, Preteen, Teen
Desired Rate: 7.00/Hour. Rate is negotiable
Information about me: I'm a recent graduate and am working at a ministry at Gallaudet University. However, I'm looking for something to help make a living. I love kids, and I've even done mission work overseas working with children with disabilities and have worked with inner city children. I have been babysitting since I was young.
Most important aspect of the job: Safety and love first. As well as discipline when needed.
Most rewarding: Just learning so much every time and loving the kids I'm with.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap? Since I've worked with children with disabilities, this has become no so much of a challenge but finding ways to make it work depending on each child.
