Information about me:	I am sixteen years old and go to Magnolia High School. I am in two AP college preparatory classes (AP English Language and AP U.S. History). I stay after-school Tuesdays and Thursdays for Academic Decathlon; an organization that provides students with the experience to compete in academic events. I am currently also in a Child Development class because of my interest to have a career in Child Psychology. I babysit often for family and neighbors and have never gotten a bad response. I enjoy and am enthusiastic about working with children, having two younger siblings (six and ten years old). I am very patient and am willing to also help with cleaning. I can be stern when needed but will make sure your child/children is comfortable with my caring. You will be notified of any incidents that occurred during my time with your child/children.
Most important aspect of the job:	The most important aspect of my job is to protect the child/children I am responsible for and to make sure my job is as enjoyable and comfortable for the child as possible.
Most rewarding:	The most rewarding aspect of my job is the experience I will receive from it and the enjoyment child care brings to me.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	If child becomes fussy or refuses to listen, I do enforce time-out as a last resort to common frustrations if the child is over 3 years of age. My time-out routine is after a couple of times of the child refusing to listen, i will place him/her onto a seat or step where I can see them and leaving them there for however long necessary (1 year of age=1 minute of time-out).
