I would like to care for: Toddler, Preschool, School, Preteen
Desired Rate: 10/Hour. Rate is negotiable
Information about me: I am a senior at Shawnee High School and am 17 years old. I am in the top 15% of my class and make good grades. I am active in Leadership 2 and am a baseball manager. I also like to volunteer. I have babysat for families before. Two with three boys and one with a boy and a girl. I am also a tutor.
Most important aspect of the job: The most important aspect would be to take care of the children and insure their safety. I would also like the kids to have fun while I am there.
Most rewarding: I love being around children and interacting with them.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap? When i get frustrated I give myself a second to calm down. I don't like to yell or get angry at the children. If they are being difficult or frustrating, I like to try to find another way to approach the situation.
