Information about me:	I am silly but serious when it comes to business. I take my job seriously because lives are at stake. I am patient, kind, understanding but firm when I need to be because children have to be taught acceptable behavior and boundaries. I have the ability to be consistent yet flexible. Children can adapt easier if they have some structure but you also have to not be rigid in schedule because little children focus is just developing. I am the 3rd child of 7 children and known as the "mother hen" over all of them. I honestly don't remember a time when I was not caring and nurturing children. I am a child of GOD first, a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter. I play many roles in a day and at any given time. Being a mom is one of the most rewarding one though! I am a mother who had a son late in life due to suffering with PCOS for over 22 years. He is my joy, my reason and my miracle. He reminds me of what is truly important in life. Most important aspect of the job:	Instilling in children the roots they need such as sharing, giving, self control, responsibility, accomplishing something, manners and love and the wings to fly to do it.
Most rewarding:	Shaping my world one child at a time. I get to help care for possibly the next president, teacher, nurse, doctor, lawyer. These are children most impressionable and formative years. When they have a solid foundation the opportunities are limitless.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	With patience plain and simple. Children cant always communicate their thoughts, needs, desires and feelings. This causes the above to happen. You got to be attentive and get to know each child individually so you can help them articulate their needs. Help guide them and teach them to communicate verbally as well as non verbally. Patience, compassion and understanding is truly my strong suit.
