Information about me:	I'm a 47 year old stay at home mom with a 13 year old daughter and a 7 year old son. I am patient, caring and very understanding when dealing with children. I am highly skillful at communicating with children at their level of understanding. I am extremely reliable and I pride myself in providing a safe, fun and extremely clean environment for the children in my care. I am dedicated to education and enjoy teaching children new skills.
Most important aspect of the job:	The most impoortant aspect of my job is to keep the children in my care safe. My number one household rule has always been: No one gets hurt. I believe in keeping kids safe, happy and busy.
Most rewarding:	Teaching new skills to children. It's a joy to see a child excited to relay what they have learned to their parent.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	In regards to incessant crying, if the baby is not sick, is not hungry and does not need a diaper change I would simply comfort the baby in an attempt to sooth them. In a toddler I would question the child about the reason they are upset and engage them in a conversation about what can be done to change the situation. If a baby is spitting out food, as they tend to do, I would simply do my best to insure they get enough to eat which might be as simple as choosing a different food. If a t
