Information about me:	I am currently active duty Marine Corps based on Camp Dodge at the recruiting station. Married (5 years in April), expecting our first child in September. Looking for extra income while my husband finishes school in order to become a full time fire fighter. Ambitious, self-driven, energetic, good with children. Grew up with 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Most important aspect of the job:	Attention to detail, compassion, and above all doing my best at all times.
Most rewarding:	I feel like the military is a good fit for me, it keeps me in great physical shape and has definately shaped the person I am today. I find the discipline and endless possibilities a very rewarding attribute of my job.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	Patience is key. If a child is being stubborn or refusing to do something that you are asking, chances are that there is a good reason behind it (teething, in someway ill, or sometimes just fussy). I like to try different approaches with different children because not every attempt with the same issue is going to have the same outcome with every child. They are all different.

Additional Info:	Children enrich our lives, and the lives of everyone they come in contact with. Upon registration to this site, I am hoping to provide the utmost care to those parents in need. My schedule is mostly flexible, my military career does unfortunately have to come first, and I am currently working on my associates degree in business administration (unavailble Tuesdays and Thursdays due to class schedule)but I am looking forward to working part time as needed on nights and weekends.
