Information about me:	I am 24 years old. I am a friendly, caring person with a great deal of child care experience from infant to elementary age. I am currently attending Baldwin Wallce College in Berea, Ohio. I will be graduating this May (2012) with a degree in early childhood education. I have completed my Praxis exams and will be board certified in the state of Ohio to teach pre-k through third grade. I have worked with a variety of age groups for the past five years. Through the step-up to quality top rated child care center I have worked for I have had the opportunity to care for children from 8 weeks to six years. Through my licensure program I have also student taught kindergarten and third grade classes at three different elementary schools. I am currently certified in CPR, first aid, communicable disease and child abuse awareness. I also have experience with potty training toddlers, children with learning disablities, autism and severe allergies. I have also had three in-home child care experience
Most important aspect of the job:	The most important aspect of any job I ever have is dependability and responsibility. I will be prompt and reliable 100% of the time.
Most rewarding:	To me, child care and education is the most gratifying job there is. I adore young children and love helping them learn and watching the grow :)
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	Working with a wide range of young children has taught me to be extremely patient. I have a very nurturing personality and know how to deal with many frustrations that come with child care. I believe the best approach is to stay cool, calm and collected and sooth the child with rocking, singing, calm assuring words, etc.
