Information about me:	I am the mother of 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren, ages 12 and 3, of whom I sit and care for on a weekly basis. I love children and plan to either work in a day care center or as a nanny when I retire in one year. I am loving, energetic, respectful, and love to play with children. I am employed at the A.I. duPont Hospital for Children and volunteeer at the day care center at the hospital when possible. At this time, until I retire, I would be available on the weekends only to care for
Most important aspect of the job:	Caring for, entertaining and playing with children. Their smiles make me most happy!
Most rewarding:	The interaction with children, their smiles and love they share with you.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap?	When a child is crying, I would investigate the why and find a solution to the problem. If a child is spitting out food, I would find out why and try to give the child an alternative choice. When refusing to nap, again find out why ... doesn't feel good, not tired yet ... have the child, at least, rest for a period of time in their room.
