Desired Rate: 9.00/Hour. Rate is negotiable
Information about me: I am a stay-at-home mom of one 3 year-old little girl. I've lived in OKC for about 1 year. I have babysat a lot in the past, been a full time nanny, and was also a OKC Bridge resource parent (foster parent).
Most important aspect of the job: I love spending time with kids. My goal is to create a fun and stimulating environment for any age group.
Most rewarding: I love just having fun and knowing that the kid(s) are having fun too.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap? It is best to distract a child when they are misbehaving. Often times, if you can distract their attention and then come back to whatever you want them to do, they forget that they're fighting it and just do it. The other thing that I do is to turn a task into a game.
