Information about me: I am a college freshman majoring in Music Education and Performance. At age 12 I started babysitting for neighbors and families at my church and volunteering in our nursury with the 2 year olds and babies.
Most important aspect of the job: The most important aspect of my job is kindness and respect.
Most rewarding: The most rewarding thing about my job is watching the laughter and the learning and growing I get to see in the kids a babysit and care for.
How do you deal with common frustrations such as incessant crying, spitting out food or refusing to nap? When caring for children, I deal with common frustrations by being consistant and firm, but never mean or demanding.
